Debbie is an experienced litigator and specialises in family law. Debbie is an approved AMINZ FDR Mediator, Associate FDR member, an accredited member of the New Zealand Law Society’s Panel of Mediators as a Family Specialist and as a Lawyer for Child and Lawyer for Subject Person. Debbie has a Post Graduate Diploma in Child Advocacy and a Graduate Diploma in Business Studies (Dispute Resolution).
Debbie assists parties to resolve all types of disputes involving care arrangements, division of relationship property, Protection of Personal and Property Rights, elderly care/retirement village, employment, immigration as well as commercial matters.
As a “people person” Debbie has excellent communication skills and extensive experience in working collaboratively with people from all walks of life. Mediation provides a forum where parties have an equal opportunity to participate in and formulate their own agreement in a confidential unbiased and timely process. As an experienced mediator, Debbie knows how important it is for people to resolve disputes with dignity and integrity, whilst gaining an understanding of one another’s points of view to achieve the best possible solutions.
